Things to do in Varpasaari
Varpasaari is centrally located in Imatra. It is a short distance to Imatrankoski and Mansikkala services. Vuoksen Kalastuspuisto and its partners offer a variety of activities and rental equipment, such as bicycles and fishing equipment.
Right next to Varpasaari are a swimming hall, a bowling alley and a sports hall, as well as an outdoor gym run by the city and the sports field Kostinpuisto, where the skating rink is frozen in winter.
The largest wooden school in Finland with its wonderful sports grounds is located a few hundred meters from the Vuoksi Fishing Park.

Miniature golf
The mini golf course is located next to the restaurant and is available during the restaurant's opening hours. There are 9 courses and enough clubs for even a larger group. A little competition with family or friends is the best thing to do!

Swimming beach and diving platform
There is a beach in Varpasaari, where you can take a dip in the refreshing river Vuoksi. The beach is on the sheltered side of Varpalahti, where there is no current.
The beach steepens quite quickly, so it is not suitable for very small children.
The beach also has a pier where you can jump into the water.
Salmon pool
Fish catch guaranteed! Catch fresh salmon yourself from the fishing pool. You can take the fish with you fresh or smoked.
Rent hobby equipment
Imatra has plenty to do and beautiful nature all year round.
Get to know river Vuoksi by pedal bike or from a rowing boat. Adventure on forest trails with an electric mountain bike or in winter with sliding snowshoes.
Wakeboard
Experience super cool wake board - track, which is located in the beautiful bay of Varpasaari. No waves can be created on the track, even with a strong wind, and there is no current, so it is safe to wake.
With a low threshold, we recommend everyone to try the sport, it's super fun and you can only improve all the time. The track has two jumps of different sizes and one rail where you can learn tricks.
Professional staff will guide you to the beginning and make sure everything is in order.
