Discover an authentic Karelian home from the 1800th century. The historical milieu is located in the middle of the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Fishing Park. The location is peaceful and is very suitable for organizing various parties and events.

The solid presence of history and dignified aged buildings create atmosphere and harmony. The yard area is large and it is easy to use it, for example, for outdoor coverings and party tents.

The Vuoksi River, flowing by like a stream, serves up its own ever-changing display, and you can watch it for any length of time without noticing it. The cabin of the Karelian homestead is just as preciously patinated by time as its exterior facades. It's nice to sit together in the living room to socialize and enjoy food at the long party tables. At the entrance to the hut, there is a large oven, where you can light a live fire that adds to the atmosphere if you wish.

In the summer, Hiljan Piha also functions as part of our camping area for tourists, when it is not rented for another purpose.

For several years, Hiljan Piha has served as a summer cafe from Midsummer to the end of August.

Christmasland in the quiet yard

Christmasland has already become a tradition, a booster of good mood, togetherness and Christmas atmosphere.

In Christmasland, there will be several local and nearby craftspeople who will be selling unique and wonderful works they have made themselves.

In the room, our Christmas cafe serves, whose guaranteed hit is the long-simmered rice porridge with side dishes. Our cafe also offers many other traditional Christmas delicacies, such as Christmas tarts, mulled wine, date cakes and gingerbread, as well as slightly more special taste experiences, for example tarts made with salty filling.

A meaningful program for all ages is organized in the yard. There is enough to experience and see for everyone.
